Marie Curie municipal oncology hospital radiotherapy service
This project is located on the premises of the Marie Curie Hospital. INVAP was in charge of the architectural and functional design of the remodeling of the service, as well as of radiobiological shielding calculations for the treatment and simulation rooms. The radiotherapy area comprises the bunker, where a TERADI 800 cobalt therapy unit is located, and the simulation room, which houses a UNISIM universal simulator. Both units have their control and dressing rooms, physicist room where a treatment scheduling system is installed, mould room, consulting room and restrooms. The covered surface of the remodeled radiotherapy service is of 200 sqm.
