INVAP was in charge of the design and works direction.  The facilities include bunkers where the cobalt therapy equipment and the linear accelerator are installed, the cyclotron, the analysis laboratories and classrooms.  INVAP provided part of the equipment and treatment rooms, including a cobalt teletherapy unit TERADI 800, a radiotherapy treatment universal simulator UNISIM and radiochemistry modules for the Positron Emission Tomograph (PET). The covered surface of the Nuclear Medicine School is of 2000 sqm distributed in three levels.
