INVAP and industrial technology
The Industrial Technology and Alternative Energy Division offers products and services to industries in such different fields as petrochemical and food processing. INVAP has carried out several projects, including the manufacturing of robots and telecommanded tools and the construction of hazardous waste management facilities.
In the design and production of state-of-the-art equipment for wind energy generation and for petrochemical, water and gas industries, INVAP takes advantage of the expertise acquired in its multiple activities. Space technology is sometimes applied to these industrial developments. Furthermore, the company produces equipment for industrial automation and chemical plants.
Specifically in the alternative energy area, INVAP is developing a 30 kW air generator as well as a Class I, 1.5 MW one, for the future installation of wind farms in Patagonia, Argentina. INVAP also produces small 4.5 kW wind turbines, intended to supply low power electricity to isolated clients.
