Yes. Originally, Applied Research that was the name given to the program created by the Argentine Atomic Energy Commission that gave birth to the company. For practical and marketing reasons, the short form INVAP was later on adopted as fantasy name and trademark.

No, it is not. INVAP is a business company, and as such it depends from its sales.

No. The company is certified with ISO 14001:2004 Standard of Environmental Protection and has suscribed the Global Compact of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Besides, INVAP does not work with radioactive material at its facilities.
