{"id":20620,"date":"2021-11-15T11:08:17","date_gmt":"2021-11-15T14:08:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dwinvap.com.ar\/?p=20620"},"modified":"2021-11-15T11:08:17","modified_gmt":"2021-11-15T14:08:17","slug":"the-minister-of-science-technology-and-innovation-visited-invap","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.invap.com.ar\/en\/the-minister-of-science-technology-and-innovation-visited-invap\/","title":{"rendered":"The Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation visited INVAP"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On November 11, the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Daniel Filmus, headed a delegation that visited INVAP\u2019s headquarters in San Carlos de Bariloche.<br \/>\nPresent at the meeting were the National Senator and President of the Science and Technology Commission, Silvina Garc\u00eda Larraburu; the President of the National Agency for the Promotion of the Research, Technological Development and Innovation, Fernando Peirano; and the Chief of Cabinet of the Ministry of Science, Mariana Alanis; who were welcomed by the President of the company of the province of R\u00edo Negro, Hugo Albani; and the General Manager, Vicente Campenni. On behalf of INVAP, the tour was also accompanied by Carlos Montenegro, Deputy General Manager; Gabriel Absi, Space Area Manager; and Dar\u00edo Giussi, Defense, Security and Environment Manager.<br \/>\nDuring the visit, the delegation was briefed about INVAP\u2019s most important achievements during its 45-year trajectory and about its development areas in fields such as nuclear, space, defense, security and environment, medical systems, and technological services.<br \/>\nAt the meeting, it was pointed out the importance of articulating the different actors of the scientific and technological system, with the aim of encouraging the national development and boosting high value-added exports. Besides, collaboration relations in innovation aspects that are of interest to both parties were analyzed.<br \/>\nDuring the tour, participants visited the Conventional Integration Building, where projects of the Defense area are developed; and the Satellite Integration Room, where the last satellites developed by INVAP were assembled: ARSAT 1 and 2, belonging to ARSAT; and SAOCOM 1A and 1B, which belong to the National Space Activities Commission (CONAE, in Spanish).<br \/>\nBesides, the tour included the Hi-Tech Test Center (CEATSA, in Spanish), company created in 2010 as the result of an agreement between the Argentine Company for Satellite Solutions ARSAT S.A. and INVAP, with the aim of providing environmental testing services.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On November 11, the Minister of Science, Technology and Innovation, Daniel Filmus, headed a delegation that visited INVAP\u2019s headquarters in San Carlos de Bariloche.
