{"id":24243,"date":"2022-03-11T12:36:15","date_gmt":"2022-03-11T15:36:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/dwinvap.com.ar\/?p=24243"},"modified":"2022-03-11T12:36:15","modified_gmt":"2022-03-11T15:36:15","slug":"the-sculpture-contest-organized-by-invap-aroused-great-interest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.invap.com.ar\/en\/the-sculpture-contest-organized-by-invap-aroused-great-interest\/","title":{"rendered":"The Sculpture Contest organized by INVAP aroused great interest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On September 1, 2021, INVAP, the company of the province of R\u00edo Negro devoted to the design and building of complex technological systems, celebrated its 45th anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>On the occasion of this anniversary and as a tribute to its founding group, the launch of a national Sculpture Contest was then announced with the purpose of selecting an artistic work to be purchased and installed at its headquarters, in San Carlos de Bariloche.<\/p>\n<p>The company received more than a hundred proposals from different places of the country, which are being assessed by a jury composed of the Art Historian and Critic Mar\u00eda Jos\u00e9 Herrera, Sculptor Jorge Gamarra, Sculptor and Architect Mimo Eidman, as well as Ver\u00f3nica Garea and Marcos Radicella as representatives of INVAP.<\/p>\n<p>INVAP is deeply grateful to all the people that have acquainted themselves with the company\u2019s history and objectives with the aim of outlining their artistic proposals and taking part in this tribute. The result of the contest will be announced in the next weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The call for proposals, which ended in December 2021, was addressed to visual artists, who could submit their projects individually or collectively, to carry out a large sculpture work that reflects the founding members\u2019 s spirit and the values they imprinted on the company, and that drive it into the future even today.<\/p>\n<p>INVAP was founded by a group of young people from the Argentine National Commission of Atomic Energy (CNEA, in Spanish), most of them graduated from the Balseiro Institute. The company grew relying on Argentinians\u2019 grey matter, with the deep certainty that knowledge and talent, in a creative and multidisciplinary context, may have a multiplier effect on development, creating genuine sources of employment, generating foreign currency and mobilizing the productive system.<br \/>\nDuring its 45 years, the company carried out more than a thousand technological projects in different fields of industry, science and applied research, both to satisfy domestic needs and to enter foreign markets through its exports.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"On September 1, 2021, INVAP, the company of the province of R\u00edo Negro devoted to the design and building of complex technological systems, celebrated its 45th anniversary.
