14-05-2009 – PROPOSAL PRESENTED IN THE NETHERLANDS : On May 11th, near Amsterdam, INVAP and its spanish associate ISOLUX CORS\u00c1N presented the technical-commercial proposal for the construction of a 80 MW Nuclear Research Reactor “Pallas”. INVAP and ISOLUX have been working on this proposal for more than one and a half years. <\/p>\n
El <\/span>On May 11th, near Amsterdam, INVAP and its spanish associate ISOLUX CORS\u00c1N presented the technical-commercial proposal for the construction of a 80 MW Nuclear Research Reactor “Pallas”. INVAP and ISOLUX have been working on this proposal for more than one and a half years.<\/p>\nThe reprensetants of the other proponents – AREVA from France and KOPEC from Korea – were present at the ceremony, as well as those of the purchaser, the dutch coompany Nuclear Research & Consultancy Group (NRG).<\/p>\n
During the coming weeks, NRG will study the proposals consulting eventual doubts with each of the proponents. According to schedule the preferred proposal might be known the first days of July.<\/p>\n
A proposal such as this must include a detailed description of the project, including data on performance, safety, availability – data whose fulfillment must be proven analytically on the spot.<\/p>\n
Beyond certain aspects which for reasons of commercial confidentiality were not made public, tho proposal of INVAP and ISOLUX was said to have made an excellent impression on the potential client, due to the degree of detail of the presentation, and the amplitude and quality of the information provided.<\/p>\n
