On May 12, the Bariloche Boreau together with local and provincial organizations and a group of volunteers, on behalf of all the attendants, planted the trees donated \u2014in the context of the Latin American Summit on Business Tourism held in San Carlos de Bariloche in March\u2014 to collaborate with the recovery of the area burnt in Catedral Mountain.<\/p>\n
The native species selected by the reforestation program LCC Forest and the civil association Sembrar is called Notro, characterized by its bright red flowers that sprout up between October and December.<\/p>\n
“This green action to protect nature was an opportunity for the attendants to do something deeply significant during their visit to San Carlos de Bariloche,” they pointed out in the press release.<\/p>\n
Under the motto “A single tree for Bariloche, a forest for the world,” more than 1,500 native trees have been planted so far. And, in each meeting, there are more groups that join to take the “green commitment” to the event location cause.<\/p>\n
This time, the Latin American Summit on Business Tourism organized by the National Institute of Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR, in Spanish), Site, the Argentine Association of Exhibitions, Congresses and Events Organizers and Providers (AOCA, in Spanish) and the Bariloche Bureau, with the support of the Ministry of Tourism of the Province of R\u00edo Negro and the Private and Public Entity of Tourist Promotion (Emprotur, in Spanish) brought together leading representatives from tourist official organizations, companies and organizers and buyers of incentive travels from Latin American, USA, Europe and other regions of the world, in the XII National Meeting of Event Location and the Site Executive Summit. INVAP S.E. (Argentine state-owned applied research company) and the company Argentina 2000 of airports management sponsored the Notros’ donation.<\/p>\n
