Defense and security

The RPA-200M is a rapidly deployable 3D tactical radar

The RPA-200M family of air surveillance radars, designed by INVAP, includes different versions designed to meet the operational needs of military and civilian users.

This line includes rapidly deployable fixed and mobile radars capable of fulfilling a variety of missions depending on the requirements of each operation.

RPA-200M

General description

INVAP designed these systems with a strong focus on user-level sustainment, emphasizing low operating costs and ease of maintenance without compromising performance.

The primary sensors of the RPA-200 family are state-of-the-art 3D radars, capable of providing reliable air surveillance across diverse operational scenarios. The system integrates primary, secondary, and cooperative sensors (3D, IFF/MSSR, and ADS-B).

Its modular and scalable design, together with a software-based architecture, makes it a versatile system, suitable for defense, border control, and air security missions. It incorporates advanced capabilities such as Digital Beamforming (DBF), Doppler processing, a robust Electronic Counter-Countermeasure (ECCM) suite, and machine learning algorithms, positioning it as a “Smart Radar”.

The radar integrates seamlessly with Command and Control (C2) systems and Air Traffic Management (ATM) centers, through data interfaces compliant with the ASTERIX standard.

In its ATC version, it complies with ICAO recommendations for air traffic control.
