IINVAP is honored to announce that on November 17, 2004, we received the visit of the President of the People´s Republic of China, Mr. Hu Jintao, during his short stay in our hometown, San Carlos de Bariloche.
This week, The PRC and Argentina have signed agreement on various subjects, which include cooperation based on the scientific and technological complementarity existing between our countries.
We are very happy and proud of the fact that Mr. Hu should have chosen to know our company during his short stay in Argentina. We see in this interest a recognition of the quality of the work of our scientists and technologists, whose achievements have trascended the limits of our country.
During Mr. Hu´s visit of our satellite integration facility, we have had the opportunity to touch upon diverse subjects relating to space, nuclear, medical and industrial technologies. Several possible lines of cooperation have been mentioned, which might contribute to enlarge the areas of cooperation between INVAP and chinese companies, to foster the joint development of new products to satisfy internal needs of our peoples, as well as to foster high tech exports to third markets.
We feel very stimulated by this new proof if the international recognition we have achieved.
