In the context of the LXIV Conference of Chiefs of the American Air Forces (CONJRFAMER, in Spanish), which took place in San Carlos de Bariloche, the authorities visited INVAP’s headquarters in Bariloche on June 19.

The delegation, headed by Brigadier Major Fernando Luis Mengo, was welcomed by Eng. Gabriel Absi, Deputy General Manager of INVAP, accompanied by the Managers of the business areas and other authorities of the company.

After an introductory meeting in which representatives from different countries of the region were briefed about INVAP’s almost 50 years, they toured INVAP’s facilities. They were shown the company’s capabilities in Defense, Security, Environment, Aerospace, Nuclear Energy, and Medical Systems.

CONJEFAMER is held annually and is part of the System of Cooperation among American Air Forces (SICOFAA, in Spanish). Its origins date back to the early 1960s, on the initiative of Thomas White, Air General of the U.S. Air Force, and continues to develop uninterruptedly to the present day, its purpose being to promote and strengthen the bonds of friendship, cooperation, and mutual support among its members.
