In the closing speech of the “Seminar on Business, Commerce and Investment Opportunities” held at Qatar, the Argentine President, Dr. Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, qualified our country as an exemplary model in the peaceful use of nuclear energy, a vocation which was formally expressed by the signature of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty.
In this frame, she highlighted the National Atomic Energy Agency and INVAP’s ability for the development of nuclear technology, as well as the high level of competitiveness reached with the Research and Isotope Production Reactors sold to Algeria, Egypt and particularly to Australia.
Madam President pointed out that having won the Australian tender “makes us all proud” since INVAP’s offer exceeded the proposals of companies from highly industrialized countries.
