Until May 31, students from all over the country will be able to submit their final undergraduate, master’s or doctoral theses in a new call that recognizes Argentine talent and innovation with real impact.

Bariloche, April 2025 – INVAP, a leading Argentine company in the development of advanced technology worldwide, launches the third edition of the National Contest “Best Engineering Theses”, an initiative that rewards academic excellence and the transforming potential of innovative ideas.

Since its creation, the event has been consolidated as a meeting point between engineering and the concrete needs of society. In the two previous editions, 277 theses from 16 provinces were presented, reflecting the federal scope of the call and the diversity of approaches in professional training.

This year, INVAP invites Argentine and foreign students from public and private universities, whose theses have been approved between 2024 and May 2025. The selected projects will be awarded in September, during a ceremony at the company’s headquarters in San Carlos de Bariloche.

“This third edition ratifies our purpose of transforming reality through technology. We want to celebrate the proposals that are born in our universities, capable of improving people’s quality of life and contributing to the country’s development,” INVAP’s authorities point out.

A jury of excellence

The works will be evaluated by a jury of professionals with extensive experience in different branches of engineering, physics, energy and the technology industry, who will contribute their expertise to select the projects with the greatest value and potential impact.

The jury for this edition is made up of:

  • Guillermo Benito – Chairman of the Jury. Nuclear Engineer, INVAP’s space expert, with almost 40 years of experience in the company.
  • Diana Balaguer – Chemical Engineer and Director of proposals at Techint Engineering and Construction.
  • Roberto Hernández – Geologist and Petroleum Engineer, international Consultant and President of LA.TE.ANDES.
  • Daniel Saccone – Doctor of Physics, manager at Y-TEC, professor at UBA and researcher at CONICET.
