On September 1 and 2, 2011, the Assistant General Manager of INVAP (Applied Research Company), Hugo Albani, Ph. D., participated in a panel entitled “Prospects on Getting the Means for Defense. Models of Regional Efficiency and Integration”, in the context of the International Seminar “Budget and Defense in South America. Models of Regional Efficiency and Integration”, organized by the national Ministry of Defense.
The initiative was aimed at promoting the efficient administration of resources assigned to the national defense through the exchange of viewpoints, experiences and prospects among the different areas involved in defense affairs, both in Argentina and in South America.
The seminar was carried out with the support of the Economic Commission for Latin America (CEPAL, in Spanish), the Argentine Association of Budget and Public Finance Administration (ASAP, in Spanish) and the Public Budget International Association (ASIP, in Spanish). It was divided into seven panels shared by distinguished specialists in this field and by national and international scholars.
