On November 23, a collaboration, cooperation and technology transfer agreement was signed between the Province of Santa Fe’s government and Invap, a technological company of the Province of Río Negro, at its headquarters in San Carlos de Bariloche.

The agreement includes innovative technologies applied to public security, and developments such as unmanned systems, electro-optical sensors, radar sensors, traceability systems of high-value goods, coordination and control systems of security forces deployment, communication systems, etc. It also involves the technological modernization, recycling and update of existing equipment and systems belonging to the Province of Santa Fe, added to the technical advisory and consulting services for the evaluation, selection, purchase and deployment of technological equipment and systems; and to the training of the staff, recruited by the provincial government according to the relevant technological areas.

The Governor of the Province of Río Negro, Lic. Arabela Carreras, and the Governor of the Province of Santa Fe, Accountant Omar Perotti, were present to countersign the agreement, which was signed by the Ministry of Security of Santa Fe, Dr. Marcelo Fabián Sain, and Invap’s General Manager, Dr. Vicente Campenni.

The ceremony was also attended by the State Secretary of Security and Justice, Dr. Betiana Minor, on behalf of the Province of Río Negro; and by the National Senator, Lic. Roberto Mirabella; Secretary of Public Security, Mgtr. Germán Montenegro; Deputy Secretary of Preventive Security, Lic. Diego Llumá; Secretary of Science, Technology and Innovation, Industrial Designer Marina Baima; and Chief of Projects, Ms. Bárbara Vance, on behalf of the Province of Santa Fe.

Present at the meeting on behalf of INVAP were the President of the Board of Directors, Lic. Hugo Albani; Assistant General Managers, Engineer Marcelo Basigalup and Lic. Carlos Montenegro; Government Business Manager, Engineer Darío Giussi; Government Commercial Assistant Manager, Engineer Juan Pablo Brioni; and Space Business Manager, Engineer Gabriel Absi.

In the context of the signing ceremony, the authorities toured the company’s facilities and were briefed about INVAP’s most important achievements during more than 40-year trajectory and about its development areas in fields such as nuclear, space, defense, security and environment, medical systems, and technological services. Special emphasis was placed on INVAP’s record in the government development area.
