On September 13, 14 & 15, the third edition of the Nano MERCOSUR Meeting, under the title “Nanotechnology for industry and society” was held in the City of Buenos Aires, organized by the Argentine Nanotechnology Foundation (FAN) and sponsored – among other institutions – by INVAP.
The objective of the meeting was to identify the challenges and advantages of micro and nanotechnology applications to increase industrial competitiveness, the market share and socio-economical benefits derived from its implementation.
Through this activity, FAN seeks to promote cooperation and knowledge exchange between companies and institutions already using micro and nano technologies and to enlighten researchers, politicians, authorities, businessmen, investors and public in general on the relevance of these new technologies and the importance of their usage in regional industries.
