The first National Workshop of Meteorological Radars took place on March 26th. The event was sponsored and organized by the Undersecretary of Hydric Resources, the National Institute for Water Resources, the National Meteorological Service and INVAP S.E.

The meeting was held at CIRSA (Semi-arid regional center), belonging to the National Institute of Water (INA) located in Córdoba, and was attended by representatives of the National Council of the Argentine System of Meteorological Radars (SINARAME), national and provincial institutions, private and public organizations and experts.

The aim of the event was to introduce the Argentine System of Meteorological Radars (SINARAME) and to create a space for the exchange and debate of knowledge, experiences, construction techniques and development of state-of-the art technology at domestic level as well as discussions on the applications in meteorology, hydrology, territorial planning, early alert systems and other related uses.
