Due to the recent signature of the agreement to build six long range primary radars, in a ceremony presided by President Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, INVAP offered a cocktail to honor the different actors participating in the development and implementation of the System of Surveillance and Control of the Argentine Air space (SINVICA).

During the cocktail, INVAP CEO, Hector Otheguy presented the Minister of Federal Planning, Public Investments and Services Julio De Vido, the Minister of Defense Arturo Puricelli, the Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Normando Costantino and the Director of the General Directorate of Military Fabrications, Santiago Rodriguez, with a series of Copper plates handcrafted by the local artist Tito Testone. Alejandro Granados, from the National Administration of civil Aviation, other Air Force officers and personnel of INVAP also participated in the event.
