After the success obtained in 2011, the Campaign is re launched in 2012, with the aim of helping the small scale rural producers of Neuquen and Río Negro, affected by the Puyehue Volcano’s eruption.
In 2011, the total raised was mainly used in assistance for cattle feeding – essential in rural family economies. The total amount raised (in Cash) was of $633.502 and donations of clothing, mineral water, non-perishable food, alfalfa hay and grains for animal feeding were also received.
This year, the goal of all the organizations, institutions and companies involved is to continue delivering forage for animals, but also to collaborate with materials to help optimize the access to drinking water, forage production and to build sheds for food storage.
Donations are received in a special solidary bank account (by deposit or transfer) “Un fardo para mi hermano”
