Once again, INVAP is one of the sponsors for IB50K, a Technology-based Business Plan competition organized by Instituto Balseiro (IB) – belonging to the National Commission of Atomic Energy (CNEA) and the University of Cuyo (UNCuyo), – which splits 50K US dollars among three winners.

The goal of the contest is to promote the creation and/or development of technology innovation companies, the entrepreneurial skills of students and Young professionals and the technological and industrial development of the country.

For the 2011 Edition, a group of technologists, researchers and experts in economy and business selected the five finalist projects that will be presented before the Grand Jury in November 24th.

The proposals, made by students and young graduates of the Universities of La Plata, Cuyo, Favaloro, Tecnológica Nacional (Mendoza), Litoral and Buenos Aires, belong to the areas of Biotechnology, TICs, Medical Physics and Applied energy technology.

Thanks to the financial support of 13 sponsors, the winner project will receive a prize of 30.000 US Dollars, the second will get 15.000 and 5.000 the third one.
