From September 16 to 18, the III Week of Technological Entrepreneurs from the Province of Río Negro 2015 was carried out in San Carlos de Bariloche, in the context of the Argentine National Week of Technological Entrepreneurs held all over the country. The meeting was organized by the area of Scientific Popularization and Culture of the Secretariat of Science and Technology of the Province of Río Negro with the support of the Investment Federal Council (CFI, in Spanish), the National University of Comahue and the National Scientific and Technical Research Council (CONICET, in Spanish) of the North Patagonia.

This time, the event brought together different speakers such as independent entrepreneurs, technological companies, scientific and technological organizations, NGO, universities and technical schools. INVAP S.E. (Argentine state-owned applied research company) participated in the module “Information and Communication Technology, new tools for physical and virtual territories,” during which Claudio Gaspar, from the area of Space Projects, was in charge of the lecture entitled “INVAP: National Technological Development.”

The Week of Technological Entrepreneurs from the Province of Río Negro is intended to promote the scientific and technological productions of the entrepreneurs, students, designers, companies, universities and organizations of the scientific and technological system of our province and region in order to encourage the innovation, the development of new companies and the diversification of the productive matrix; thus strengthening and supplying the productive chain of our region with value-added.

It also facilitates the exchange of ideas encouraging an entrepreneurial initiative and allows the identification of technological business opportunities with the aim of improving the management capability taking full advantage of the scientific and technological knowledge either for the creation of new companies, or for the development and the strengthening of the already established enterprises.
