The Workshop on Photonics and Optics TOPFOT 2014 was held from May 27 to 30, at Delta Regional School dependent on the National Technological University of the city of Campana, Province of Buenos Aires. It covered four main subject areas: communications, transport, energy and industry, production, products and processes control. The aim was to create working links between the industry and research laboratories.
Besides, it was proposed to work with public institutions, companies and other organizations in order to seek solutions to new or unresolved problems. On behalf of INVAP (Applied Research Company), the Engineer Diego Etchepareborda and Dr. Eduardo Nassif, of the Nuclear Project Management, participated in the event delivering lectures about “Quantitative optical methods in the isotope separation processes” and “Highly complex and technological development projects at INVAP S.E. (Argentine state-owned applied research company).”
