The event dealt with social alternative economies spontaneously developing in communities through collaborative networks and academic research, and examined with a transversal perspective several questions, from legal issues to their public management. Its aim was to provide participants with new approaches and tools that may contribute to take a collaborative stance on the economy, as against the traditional view focused on lack of resources and economic competition. Concepts introduced on the first day of the meeting were put into practice the following day through collaborative advisory rounds in which more than 60 people participated. They shared their experiences and knowledge, and were advised by different professionals on ways to improve the development and management of their enterprises.
