On September 3, the Argentine Minister of Defense, Arturo A. Puricelli, headed a ceremony to commemorate the Industry Day at FAdeA, the Argentine Aircraft Factory “Brigadier San Martín”, located in Cordoba. The ceremony was attended by representatives of the different organizations that form the National Defense Production System: Fabricaciones Militares (Military Factories), Instituto de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas para la Defensa (CITEDEF) (Institute of Science and Technical Research for Defense), Complejo Industrial Naval Argentino (CINAR) (Argentine Naval Industrial Complex), Tandanor and INVAP.

After a round of conferences, officials and guests visited the Fade facilities, oriented to aircraft production and manufacturing and signed relevant cooperation agreements between the state company, INTI (National Institute of Industrial Technology) and INVAP.

INVAP Deputy General Manager, Hugo Albani, remarked that “our company has grown in the framework of a public policy that gives priority to national industry and based on the trust the Government has put in the skills of Argentine professionals.”

Mr. Puricelli, on his turn, said that “we have a policy aimed at ensuring national security by means of genuinely Argentine developments and industry” and emphasized “INVAP production of primary surveillance radars with 100% national technology”.
