On April 23, the Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) carried out on the antenna and pedestal of the new Argentine Monopulse Secondary Radar (RSMA, in Spanish,) developed by INVAP, were successfully completed. The RSMA will be located at the airport of the city of Paraná (ICAO Code: SAAP), in the third-month period of this year.

These tests are the first milestone of the project, whose objective is the development, installation and operation of a state-of the-art sensor for air traffic control, using modern surveillance technology such as Mode S transponder and Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B), at the service of EANA S.E. (Argentine Air Navigation Company).
