The request was made by the U.S. company SpaceX, in charge of the Falcon 9 rocket that will carry the satellite.

Buenos Aires City, October 3, 2018 – The Argentine National Space Activities Commission (CONAE, in Spanish) informed that the launching of the Argentine Microwave Observation Satellite SAOCOM 1A and its putting into orbit will change the scheduled date for October 7 or 11 as other alternatives. This modification was requested by the company SpaceX to continue with the tests in order to ensure a successful launching.
