“Argentina and Rio Negro’s Space and Scientific Development” Visual Exhibition was officially inaugurated today, 10th June, at the ground floor of San Carlos de Bariloche Airport.

The Exhibition was put together by the Province of Rio Negro’s Bureau of Science, Technology, and Development for Production; and it commemorates the launching of SAC-D/Aquarius Satellite, which was entirely designed and built by INVAP for the National Commision of Aerospace Activity (CONAE) and the American Space Agency, NASA.

A scaled mockup of SAC-D/Aquarius Satellite, launched on 10th June 2011, is on display, together with a tour through the history of Space Technology Development, which is made available by CONAE.

Opening Hours: from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m, until 24th June.
