Today, 12 August, the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (ANSTO) issued a statement celebrating the fourth anniversary of the first criticality of the OPAL reactor, provided by INVAP.

ANSTO also highlights achievements during the past four years while expressing “we look forward to utilizing this extraordinary facility at its full potential to become a world leader in research reactor operation and utilization”.

Undoubtedly this is also an argentine successful, that INVAP shares with all those individuals and institutions who has worked hard to achieve this accomplishment. In this regard, special mention should be made to the staff of the National Atomic Energy Commission (CNEA), the provincial and national authorities in general and in particular the Foreign Ministry, for all the support received.
