From September 17 to 19, the second edition of the Week of Technological Entrepreneurs from the Province of Río Negro 2014 took place at the Pedro Estremador gymnasium in San Carlos de Bariloche. Organized by the Undersecretary Office of Science and Technology of the Province of Río Negro, it brought together entrepreneurs from the province that expounded about their projects and/or displayed their technological prototypes. Besides, science and technology organizations, universities and technical schools also took part in the event.
The exposition was officially opened by the Governor of the Province of Río Negro, Mr. Alberto Weretilnek, the Minister of Economy, Accountant Alejandro Palmieri, the Minister of Government, Dr. Luis Di Giaccomo, the Minister of Tourism, Mrs. Mariana Giachino, the Secretary of Science and Technology, Lic. Daniel Quattrini and the President of the Town Council, Dr. Ramón Chiocconi. The event was attended by a great number of people.
Lecturers approached issues such as national and provincial public policies concerning the entrepreneurs’ resources, product and technology parks, innovative cities in a global economic context, several case studies and the Free Software Regional Conference 2014.
